Job Description
Are you a high school senior with a passion for numbers and a desire to explore a career in Human Resources? We’re seeking a dedicated and motivated Human Resource Intern to join our team. This internship opportunity is designed to provide you with hands-on experience in the world of Human Resources, and business operations. You’ll work closely with our experienced professionals and gain valuable insights into the day-to-day activities of an outsourced Human Resources department.
Educational Components
- Complete 120 hours of coursework through the SHRM curriculum and additional professional development sessions.
- Engage in interactive learning and real-world HR projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the recruitment and hiring process
- Support the HR team in managing employee records
- Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Help coordinate and administer employee benefits and payroll
- Engage in training and development initiatives
- Provide support for compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Reliable and keen to learn new skills in a professional setting.
